a little something to make you smile
My dear friend Laura just moved to Ecuador to teach in a missionary school... She is currently living in Macas and ending the summer with VBS! She writes about her experiences HERE... I highly recommend reading her- it constantly reminds of me of God's HOLINESS... especially this video she recently posted:
Thanks Lau for sharing the joys of your experience! We love and miss you greatly!

just swallowed by tongue.
Yes... I am eating this right now. No, this is not a picture from the internet... it's from my phone. I just took it. And yes, it tastes as good as it looks. Fresh berries, crunchy granola with the perfect sweetness, and the creamiest yogurt I've ever tasted. Thank you AGAIN, Community Bakery for tempting my cravings and fulfilling my sweet tooth ever so perfectly.
It's my last week in the LR... Headed to Jackson on Friday to take care of all my background checks and finger prints (because apparently pharmacy students are seen as potential criminals?), blood work (because we are more likely to become ill?), and get my badge. Then it looks like we might sneak a quick trip in to the beach for a couple of days before the big move (fingers crossed, of course). Wouldn't mind a little last minute break from reality before things get busy! All I know is that I can't wait until August 6th.....there will be a lot of HUANGNESS going on...
Until then... we'll be trying to eat the remains in our fridge, pack up our little Little Rock life, and get ready for MISSISSIPPI, it's like coming home :)

mornin' ya'll!
Saturday means pancakes at any Berry house... So far, I've had pancakes every Saturday morning... and no, I have not been the one to make them. Chad has been so kind as to serve me on Saturday mornings with his mad pancake flippin' skills. And they're good. We actually got this cool pancake warmer and syrup pitcher as a wedding gift... definitely going to go to great use in our place!
Got to love Williams-Sonoma! This morning, however, we had pancakes at the Berry house for VSTREET'S (aka Vann, Chad's little brother) birthday! That's V-Streets above (that's his rapper name). If you know Chad, you understand that his little brother has a rapper name. He's awesome. The big 17 TODAY!
I'm currently sitting in my new LR obsession...
We live downtown and I've been searching for "sweet spot" .... (you know, like a Square Books balcony or a Bottletree, or a HighPoint).... and this place is PERFECT. I just don't need to to hang out here too long or my sugar intake will take off to the point of no return!
A few other discoveries I've enjoyed in the LR include...
and who doesn't love ...
If you don't know...I'm SUCH a nerd when it comes to grocery stores. I LOVE going to the grocery store (a good one) and I especially love Whole Foods. I'm DYING for one to come to MISSISSIPPI! I've tweeted them, emailed them, I've done all one girl can do. I mean, at least come to Jackson... I just so happen to be moving there very soon. I wouldn't dare ask to come to Tupelo.... We've been begging for a target for about 10 or so years now. I know- it's sad. I don't know what's holding them back....
Anyway- enough of my random rambles for today... I probably should write some thank-you notes as I'm about 500 behind.
Happy SATURDAY! (which, by the way, has a completely new meaning now that I stand up in the back of a pharmacy for 40+ hours a week). LOVE the weekends.

my corner
It's been one month TODAY! I bought myself these blooming beauties to celebrate one month of being a wife...
We are currently and temporarily living in a fully-furnished house (that I am so very grateful for) while we are in the LR, so I have to stick to simple ways to make things feel like "my own." These were a nice addition to my little kitchen corner...
Happy Monday everyone!

returning
Well, after scarce posting over the past 6 months, I'm making a come back. Not promising I'll be posting every day... but now that I've planned a wedding, married chadberry, and living a somewhat normal routine, I will hopefully be back in the blog swing of things.
Currently residing in the LR. Pharmacy intern. Improving my cooking skills. Perfecting my clothes-washing skills (Chad wears something ONCE and throws it in the hamper). Learning that it's actually not all about me.
I cannot believe it has been a month since the big day. It has been a hard month, but a GOOD month. I can't really explain marriage except that it is truly sanctifying... but more on that later.
In case you missed the big day, here's a little taste of what it was like.
If you cannot see the full video screen, just click HERE.
We had a blast. It was truly the best weekend of my life.
I could go on end thanking everyone who made it so perfect, but for this post, I'll stick to to STEPHANIE RHEA, my photographer. She's the artist behind the magic posted above and I could never thank her enough for capturing our day so perfectly. If you want to see her incredible talent, or just more wedding photos, just click the "HERE" above, click "share", and then on the "more" tab. Then click "see/order more photos." She's truly amazing.
More to come on the big day later... perhaps when I get my pics I'll highlight my favorite parts :)
