Therefore, we do not lose heart! Though outwardly we are washing away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.

happy times

There have been so many happy things going on that I simply have not had time to blog about them...

First, I have been able to go to Oxford TWICE since my last post... which is a big deal as my last visit was in August!  I was able to spend time with my C-Rae doing the usual... consuming delicious breakfast, complete with my bottletree muffin and a Lonestar waffle from the Huangs!

I also went down a second time and spent time with Ty... we had a "study party" which ended up us talking the whole night.  So wonderful.

I also made a quick trip to Tupelo to have lunch with a bunch of crazy old ladies to celebrate THIS GIRL:

That's the infamous Chacha, if you did not know...

Chad out did himself for Valentine's day this year... we normally don't get into it that much (although I am a sucker for flowers and dark chocolate).
My computer is seeing it's final days, but we are trying to make it last until I'm done with school.  I think Chad is tired of seeing is Macbook in the kitchen with me while I'm trying out Pinterest recipes... so this should do the trick!

This past weekend we celebrated my dearest Chucy (Allison).  We started out at Babalu and finished at the Drew and Ellie show.

We were also treated to hear sweet Jillian Edwards. I actually got the pleasure of hosting Jillian at our place that night!  Sweetest person.  I came across her Galaxies and Such album Fall of my Senior year in college and have loved it ever since.  I had no idea that she was close to my age or that we had a mutual friend!  Come to find out, shes great friends with my friend MCK (no surprise there, MCK knows everyone, I've decided).  Herbert was especially fond of her.  Anyway, she's beautiful and she is as sweet as her voice sounds. Here are a couple of my favorites:

July and June: This has been one my favorites... I love the lyrics.

And this a super fun duet with Jillian and Johnny Stimson... so fun!

TODAY: I am keeping my favorite... Etta Catherine.  She's the sweetest, smartest, most beautiful little girl I know.  Lucky for me, she calls me "Aunt Hart" which means I get to buy her "happies" and such.
Adorable, I know.

Other than that, we've been double-dating, triple-dating, supper-clubbing, working and studying.  And Herbert just tags along.
Just spoiled.
Anyway, that's what's been going on with the Berry's...
Next up: LAKE WEEKEND 2012. Pumped.

In case you haven't heard...

I can't believe it has taken me this long to acknowledge this BIG EVENT here on the blog... but what I kept secret on my post last Friday was that on that very night, one of my very best friends would be asked the question! Ty, Kiz, Kizzy, TK, Tylaaa, Tyler (whatever name you prefer to use) and I have been friends since... well I honestly don't remember the days before playing spice girls, jumping on the trampoline for hours, tumbling (trying for me) in the backyard, deciding "what to wear to school tomorrow", sharing ballet roles (literally), carpooling from cheerleading to ballet (and later ballet to WC), Thanksgiving at GG's, many a church trips, sleeping in those flannel sheets, getting attacked by Jack at the door, being called Hartress by Joy (or Corazon by Dr. Mark), and having someone who's handwriting and mind are SO similar to mine.  Ty is such a dear soul.  I don't have to go into why, as anyone who knows her knows that she is good to the bone and good for the soul.  While we have a lot in common, I can only hope to be the sweet spirited woman of Christ she is. I'm so thankful we have shared so many life experiences together and I'm so blessed that even though we didn't go to the same college, we were finally able to be roommates last year as she began pharmacy school (yet another thing we have in common). Living with Tyler just makes you want to be a better person, and hopefully a little more of her rubbed off on me last year.

Now, I'm so glad she'll be experiencing MARRIAGE right alongside me in Jackson next year... She and Blake will be getting married this summer and I can hardly wait for them to hurry up and get here!

Friday night was absolutely wonderful... you know you're loved when, within an extremely short notice, your friends from Baton Rouge and Nashville drop everything they're doing and drive hours to be with you.  It was such a happy night... gosh such a happy night.

Dr. Roy and Mrs. Susan were such great hosts!

Ty telling the story...
... And Blake listening in satisfaction... The guy has to know how lucky he is.
What a sweet night with sweet friends.
Happy times.
